Do your children have questions about refugees? This Live art exhibition and performance invites you to share, listen and connect with real and intimate stories of migration and displacement told by those who have been forced to leave homes.
You've got 5 minutes to collect your things before leaving your home to start a new life across the world. What valuable item(s) would you grab and what would you leave behind?
In Arabic, bukjeh describes the small pack of belongings carried by travellers and refugees. By sharing a view into our suitcases, sacks, and pockets, we are sharing our feelings, memories, and experiences of home—and of having to leave it.
