Hours

3.00 pm - 7.30 pm

For International Women’s Day we are celebrating women: women who have fought bias and made their mark in sporting arenas; women who get active, break down the barriers and inspire others to do the same. Come on down and pull up a bean bag as we show off some of the best in women's sports for free!

5.30 pm – 7.30 pm:
Ride Like A Girl – The Michelle Payne story

The IWD screen program is part of the City of Casey’s local We Are We Can We Will program encouraging women and girls’ participation in physical activity. We will be hosting a panel discussion on 30th March where local and international women who participate in sport and physical activity will share their experiences and reflections on what it takes to create a gender equal world.

International Women's Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organisation specific.
