Accompanying the film program will be series of pre-film DJs and live performances as well sensational food and drink offerings to slip you into that lazy summer mood.

Enjoy the MIFF hand-picked films on our Outdoor Screen for only $7.00 per person with each ticket including an ice-cream or pop-corn treat from our festival candy bar.  

For our Friday night film we are presenting multi-award winner at the Sundance Film Festival, CODA.

As a CODA (child of deaf adults), Ruby is the only hearing person in her home. When she discovers a passion for singing, Ruby must choose between family obligations and her dramas. CODA is a sweet, touchingly funny tale about a working-class teen whose newfound passion for singing helps her connect with her deaf family in new ways.

Halo Vocal Ensemble, 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm

HALO Vocal Ensemble is a collaborative group of Melbourne’s leading singers and musicians, performing live arrangements of classic & modern RnB, Soul and Hip Hop songs. Birthed from a love of American Gospel music and Contemporary RnB, HALO puts a modern spin on the definition of a choir, bringing a new sound to the masses. Representing Halo for Melbourne International Film Festival 2022, Liona has put together a tight knit crew of amazing vocal artists, introducing; Meiwa, Lani Zimmer, Emma Volard & Tyra Lewis.
