Think art galleries are just full of boring old paintings? Think again. We’re going to turn everything you thought you knew on its head. As a part of one of our first exhibitions (watch this space), we’re exploring all things play, place and gaming. Bunjil Placemaker will be one of the feature artworks of the season; a live game that explores our city – think SimCity in virtual reality.
To help shape and test the game, we're growing a tribe of gameplayers. That's where you come in. In the coming months we'll be running a bunch of workshops that will have you learning the technical side of game development and contributing to the creative process by playing the beta version.
Innocent has one of those seriously wild creative brains whose ideas explore the way cities are imagined. Working in a variety of mediums including coding, sculpture, animation, sound and installation, he has a real thing for gaming and just playing in general. Who says we really have to grow up?
