We're going digital this school holidays with an amazing interactive online LIVE performance you can join in from home! Can you help Mr. Grinling find his lunch before the pesky seagulls steal it?



Together, at home, you can play along with this show, presented LIVE online via Zoom at 11.00 am on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 & Thursday 30 September. In this interactive screen experience, performer Ali Gordon talks directly to your children and invites everyone to participate using props from around your house. Recommended Ages 2-8 - bookings essential!

Powerhouse Yoga: Resilient, Calm and Confident Children - Tuesday 21 - Thursday 23 September

Join us on Zoom in these free Yoga sessions for kids aged 4 - 17 designed to promote wellbeing and calm.

Melinda from Powerhouse Yoga in Berwick will guide you through a series of free Yoga sessions, blending mindfulness and yoga to support the wellbeing needs of all children.

School Holidays Dance Workshops - Monday 27 & Thursday 30 September 

TAB Dance Workshop

Step into the roles of dancer and choreographer in these online dance workshops with The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team!

Students from pre-school to Grade 3 will focus on storytelling through dance, and students Grade 4 and up will focus on the tools used for making a dance.

Students in all age groups can expect to take part in energetic warm-ups, learn about the body, move, create, learn and have fun while exploring movements and characters from the stories of The Australian Ballet. No dance experience required.

 

Teens Romeo & Juliet Digital Ballet Workshop - Tuesday 28 September, 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm 

Romeo & Juliet ballet workshop

Dance students aged 12+ are invited to join The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team online for a creative dance workshop, based on Paul Knobloch’s new condensed version of Romeo & Juliet.

This is designed for students with some previous dance experience, but there will be options for all levels. You can expect a contemporary ballet warm-up, learning some sections from the performance, creative tasks and a short Q+A.

 

Creative Cute Cat Comp - Open Saturday 18 September to Sunday 3 October

The internet loves cat videos, and we do too! So we're asking you to send in your most Creative Cute Cat videos! Other pets are of course welcome.

Film your pet doing their best trick, funniest noise, or build them a miniature city out of playdough and get them to run through it like a cuddly Godzilla!

You could even use your movie magic skills to put in some special effects. Be as creative as you want, as long as your special pet is the star! 

 

Bukjeh Children's Workshops - Available Monday 20 September to Friday 1 October

Bukjeh's 'Home Away From Home' Spring 2021 School Holidays program consists of Storytelling, Cooking Classes, Movement & Dance, Creative Writing, Podcasting, Crafts, and Art workshops and more! 

Bukjeh is a transformative and interactive arts project, created by Aseel Tayah to foster community participation for refugees, to empower them to share their art and stories and to encourage their local communities to embrace diversity.
