Bunjil Place's world-class theatre offers presenters the space and state-of-the-art facilities required to stage major works and wow their audience.
The 846 seats throughout the stalls and dress circle have been carefully designed to enhance the experience of the audience and present an unobstructed view of the full proscenium arch. Our theatre also features a viewing room, where audience members can watch the action through soundproof glass and still hear the audio via the room's PA system.

We welcome enquiries from both commercial presenters and community groups. Each submission is carefully considered to ensure it aligns with our venue availability, resourcing, and curatorial program.
How to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Venue Hire at Bunjil Place
To get started, simply complete the Expression of Interest form below. Our Venue Hire team will acknowledge receipt of your submission within three business days.
To help us assess your enquiry as efficiently as possible, please ensure all fields are completed accurately and include as much detail as you can about your proposed performance or event.
Please note that EOIs can only progress if all required information is provided.
We operate on a 90-day on-sale window. This approach is designed to help maximise ticket sales while also allowing sufficient time for planning, resourcing, and delivering your event successfully. Please allow for this in your event dates requests.

What happens next?
Once submitted, your EOI will move through our curation process. During this stage, we assess each proposal for both availability and suitability within our existing calendar of performances and events. We may contact you if additional information is required.
You can expect a response from our team within 10 business days, advising whether we are able to offer a date for your event.
If a date is offered, the next steps are:
1. You’ll receive an Event Requirements Form to complete and return.
2. Based on your requirements, we’ll prepare a tailored Cost Estimate for your review.
3. Once approved, we’ll issue a contract along with a non-refundable deposit invoice.
As each event is unique, all cost estimates are created on a case-by-case basis, taking into account your specific needs, timings, and staffing requirements.
