This performance includes experienced conductor Basil Hawkins who will be joining the CPO for the first time conducting Bruckner No. 4. Gracing the stage once again for the CPO will be Kent Ross conducting Rossini’s - The Thieving Magpie”, as well as highly accomplished and celebrated conductor/violinist Roy Theaker in the capacity of director and soloist in the Mozart violin concerto K.219.

The Casey Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) was formed in 2017. With the aim of firstly enriching the cultural landscape of the local municipality and secondly to provide local professionals and aspiring amateurs a place to practise and further develop their art.

Within a very short period of time the orchestra has gone from being a little-known community group to becoming a highly regarded lively mix of personnel that are rich in musical and life experiences, all with a passion to create beautiful music.
