Join drag superstars Belial B’Zarr, Linh Uendo, Holly Pop, Lilium, Randy Roy and more in The Art of Drag! Learn how to bring your inner king, queen (or jester) to life as you learn and interact with a new aspect of drag culture and self expression every week in this fabulous 5 week WERKshop.

Wednesday 5 April - Intro to drag
Ever wondered where the glitz and glam came from? Join drag artist Belial B’Zarr in an exploration of drag history and culture. Discover how drag as an artform relates to the world around us and how to channel your own inspirations into art.

Wednesday 12 April - Makeup for the stage
Explore makeup as an artform and discover how it brings a character to life. Learn real techniques used by drag artists to create an outstanding mug, and channel your inspo to create unique faces fit for the stage.

Wednesday 19 April - Fashion design for the stage
It’s all about style! Explore fashion design with Belial B’Zarr and discover how silhouette, line, shape, and colour coalesce to form jaw-dropping looks. Design your own fits together and find out how to bring your fashion sketches into the real world.

Wednesday 26 April - Performance skills
Looking to hit the stage? Join Lilium and Linh Uendo to uncover performance skills as unique as the artists themselves. Build your confidence as a budding performer and learn from the pros as they guide you through varied performance techniques, and share their personal journey as performers.

Wednesday 3 May - Finale
The finale we’ve been waiting for! Linh Uendo and Belial B’Zarr come together to answer your questions in a panel-style discussion; and perform some of their favorite acts (plus a special guest performer to be announced!) Dress up, bring a friend, bring your questions, and celebrate creativity and drag excellence.
