Favourite themes from popular movies. Join Casey Philharmonic Orchestra as we play some of the most iconic Halloween music from across the ages. Prizes for audience costumes, so come dressed to the theme.
A night not to be missed. Programme includes Saint-Saens – Danse Macabre, Mussorgsky – Night on Bald Mountain, and a whole range of exciting movie/TV themes, including:
- Overture from Phantom of the Opera Overture
- This is Halloween (Nightmare Before Christmas)
- Beetlejuice Suite
- Ghostbusters
- Murder theme from Psycho
- Double Trouble and Nimbus 2000 from Harry Potter
- Selections from the Addams Family
- Theme from the TV show Wednesday
- Gremlins Suite (Gremlins Rag)
The performance will also feature two new compositions by two young Melbourne composers!
- Waltz of the Reaper (George Barsoum)
- Haunted House (William Hanna)
Come and meet your favourite characters in costume or come in your own costume – prizes for best audience costume. A perfect afternoon out for all ages.
