Join us for a free day of games, creativity and connection at Bunjil Place. Presented by the City of Casey and Connected Libraries as part of Melbourne International Games Week, Games Day brings people of all ages together through play.
Whether you're a dedicated gamer, a casual player or simply curious to try something new, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself, discover new experiences and connect with others in a fun, welcoming environment.
 

Plaza
Step aboard the Ultimate Games Truck and rediscover a huge collection of classic and nostalgic video games. Challenge friends and family to giant chess, Connect Four and Jenga, or put your skills to the test on the mini golf course. Enjoy a selection of tabletop games hosted by Melbourne Meeples, featuring an oversized Harmony set for all ages!
 

Outdoor Screen
Take centre stage on the big screen with a Mario Kart Tournament and race for glory against fellow players. The top player of the day will have the opportunity to compete at the King of Kart Tournament at Fed Square!
You can also experience Cosmic Quest, an interactive augmented reality adventure where your body movements control the action on screen. Guide meteorites through the galaxy, create new planets and explore a unique experience that blends gaming, creativity and technology. 

Foyer
Discover Pack Mentality, a multiplayer game installation controlled by participants’ mobile phones, where a crowd populates and inhabits a living projected world. You can also take part in Cake Box, a creative workshop inspired by cakes, sharing and cultural exchange. Decorate your own paper “cake box” with drawings and stickers inspired by favourite cakes, memories, people and places, then keep it or gift it to someone special.

Library
Discover board games from Connected Libraries’ extensive collection and join in friendly challenges and competitions throughout the day. Whether you're a seasoned strategist or a first-time player, there's a game for everyone to enjoy.
