Bunjil Place presents ‘Junior Art Scientists: What Happens When…?’
This interactive art workshop for primary-aged students and their parents invites participants to play with colourful liquids and create artworks while asking the question ‘What Happens When…?’. Designed as a companion workshop to Ash Keating’s exhibition Pressure this summer holiday workshop provides an opportunity for young children to engage with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) thinking and explore different forces of control to make art.
Bring your curiosity and prepare to be inspired - from flowers and ink to coffee filters and bubbles, it’s sure to be a fun morning of experiments and colour!

Meet your teaching artist
Eleanor Rabl is an artist-educator based in the City of Casey of Naarm, Melbourne currently completing a degree in Educational Studies and Fine Arts. She currently works in a school supporting the art department and is passionate about nurturing creativity and critical thinking in young people.
As an artist, Eleanor has exhibited sculpture and painting works at Newstead Arts Hub and MADA NOW, performed in ‘Us and All of This’ by Liesel Zink, and worked with the City of Casey’s very own Arts Agitators to develop and deliver arts programming to local communities. As a community member and educator, she is interested in fostering creativity in those around her and supporting creative careers.
