Biography

From an engineer who dabbled in a little bit of writing to becoming one of India's most popular comedians, Kanan's journey has been formidable. Having performed all over the world, his stand-up special Keep it Real was rated one of the best in the country and loved globally. Starting with the incredibly popular Pretentious Movie Reviews with Biswa Kalyan Rath to Sketchy Behaviour with Kenny Sebastian and How Insensitive, Kanan has toured with his special Teetar across the world, where he combines the fundamentals of storytelling, existentialism and comedy to create and perform one of the most forward-thinking comedy specials. Teetar was released as Yours Sincerely on Netflix this year. He also made his Bollywood debut in 2017's, Noor.
