Join designer and natural dye alchemist Tamara Leacock of REMUSE Designs for a 4-hour immersive masterclass.
Begin with a respectful local foraging walk, gathering seasonal plants while learning about ethical harvesting and place-based practice. Then dive into hands-on, plant-based dyeing—preparing fabrics, exploring shibori resist techniques, and creating layered colour with botanicals and mineral mordants. Each participant will dye a custom undyed REMUSE scarf, may bring a natural fibre garment to transform, and receive materials to continue their practice at home.
PLEASE NOTE: This program takes place offsite at The Old Cheese Factory, 34 Homestead Road, Berwick.
