Watercolour Workshop with Jennifer Mills

Join us at Bunjil Place for a very special watercolour workshop led by watercolour artist Jennifer Mills.

Readily available and more accessible than many other painting styles, this watercolour workshop is an opportunity for those who are curious to learn more and delve deeper into watercolour as a medium and painting style. Known for her technical mastery of watercolour, Jennifer will share her tips and techniques for working with watercolour.

Over the course of three hours participants will be guided by Jennifer, experimenting with paints, brushes and paper, to create an artwork of their own.

About Jennifer Mills

Jennifer Mills has captivated audiences with her mastery of watercolour – a medium through which she explores the delicate interplay of presence and absence. 

Often beginning with found photographic imagery, she employs oil pastel, scissors, or physical erasure to conceal, remove, or interrupt elements within the image. 

By disrupting the original narrative, Mills invites new readings, creating visual spaces where memory, ambiguity, and silence take precedence.
