IMPORTANT UPDATE: Tonight's planned Summer Symphony outdoor performance by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will be moved into the theatre to accommodate poor weather conditions. The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will perform excerpts and short works from much-loved music, including renowned pieces by Mozart and Beethoven, plus some contemporary classics in a relaxed family-friendly concert in the Plaza.
Audiences are invited to bring a picnic to be enjoyed safely with their friends and family as twilight melodies are performed.
Book your spot for $5.00 and receive one of the following items from our outdoor café on arrival:
- Glass of champagne
- Any Bottled Non-Alcoholic Drink
Guests can also pre-order a variety of food options at the time of booking, including:
- Cheese Platter: Local cheeses, fruit, paste and lavosh - $18.50
- Ribbon Sandwiches: Classic chicken mix - $15.00 (6 pieces)
- Rice paper rolls: Fresh and pickled vegetables with hoi sin dip - $18.50 (6 pieces)
- Three cheese arancini with pesto - $16.50 (6 pieces)
Food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the performance.
