Emergent 2025 Graduate Exhibition and Film Screening: applications open

Are you, or do you know, a year 12 (or Unit 3 & 4) student studying design, visual art, fashion or media in the City of Casey? 

Apply now to present your work in Emergent 2025, Bunjil Place's annual celebration of the best year 12 (unit 3 & 4) art, design, photography, film, fashion and performing arts from our local area. 

Each year, Emergent Graduate Exhibition and Film Screening presents the next wave of artists, designers and filmmakers from the City of Casey Region. The outstanding talent of VCE and VET visual art, design, fashion and media students is showcased in a professional setting at Bunjil Place. 

Entry to Emergent 2025 Graduate Exhibition and Film Screening is FREE and open to students who live, study or work in the City of Casey, or have a significant connection to the City of Casey (i.e. participation in a sporting team, dance school, family etc.)

For Visual Art, Design, Media and Fashion students: 

Local students studying the subjects listed below in 2025 are encouraged to submit their final artworks, design, fashion, photography or film:  

VCE Units 3 & 4: 

  • Art Creative Practice
  • Art Making and Exhibiting
  • Media
  • Visual Communication and Design
  • Product Design and Technology
  • VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology
  • VCE VET Screen and Media
  • VCE VET Visual Art

International Baccalaureate:

Works selected for exhibition will be displayed at Bunjil Place Studio, 5 - 22 March 2026. Films selected for the short film screening will be screened at Bunjil Place Outdoor Plaza, 12 March 2026.
