Melbourne put on its finest weather for the opening of Bunjil Place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October as visitors flocked to the precinct to explore what Victoria’s newest entertainment and arts destination has to offer.

With Melbourne’s tastiest food trucks in town and some of the best entertainment on offer including Nick Jr’s PAW Patrol, DreamWorks Trolls and comedians Peter Helliar, Charlie Pickering, Claire Hooper and Tegan Higginbotham, Bunjil Place was a hive of activity during the Opening Festival.

Bunjil Place is set to become the centerpiece of Melbourne’s south-eastern corridor that will enrich and enliven visitors. No longer will people need to travel into town to get their culture fix with the best art and entertainment now located on our doorstep.

If the success of the opening weekend is anything to judge by, the future of Bunjil Place looks bright and exciting.
