The youngest artists in our community are invited to get crafty with the Country Women’s Association (CWA) this winter school holidays and make stunning paper flowers.
Working alongside members of the Beaconsfield branch of the Country Women’s Association, children will be guided through clever cutting techniques using colourful crepe paper to create their very own posy of paper flowers.
This workshop is specifically designed for children 8 to 12 years old.
Parents and carers do not need to book for themselves. Adult supervision is required.
About your workshop facilitators:
The Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc. is an organisation of women supporting women, children and families right across Victoria. It’s a vibrant, volunteer philanthropic organisation with a focus on friendship, personal development and advocacy. It was formed on 12 March 1928 and today has approximately 5,000 members. Each member belongs to one of 300 branches across Victoria, that maintains its own program and is empowered to meet community needs as well as supporting state-wide initiatives.
We encourage members to support each other, make a difference in their communities and advocate on community issues, sustainable development and the protection of the environment, and social issues.
