Discover what extraordinary might feel like for your body.

Step into the world of Blak Circus with Na Djinang, one of Australia’s most imaginative contemporary circus companies.

Guided by world class artists, this workshop opens a door to movement, culture and connection. You will tumble, balance and create as a team in a space that celebrates curiosity, courage and the joy of trying something new.

No experience is needed – just a willingness to play, to test your limits and to discover what extraordinary might feel like for your body.

Join us for a generous and energising introduction to Blak circus.

Abount Na Djinang Circus

Na Djinang Circus envisions a bold future for Blak circus on unceded Indigenous lands, deeply informed by Indigenous Cultural knowledges and ways of being. Our purpose is to elevate Blak Australian circus nationally and internationally, fostering new practices, works, and futures through research, articulation, and agitation.

From the western suburbs of Naarm we create contemporary circus that works to share unique insights with the next generation's Hands & Feet. Our ambition goes beyond creating work—we strive to create holistic cultural processes that shape the future of our work and the circus form.

Capacity: Workshops are limited to 20 participants per session.

Recommended ages: Please take note of the Year Level associated with each of the performance times and book the session that suits your group. The workshops are adjustable to all ages but need to be broken into age ranges avoiding groups with mixed ages.

Warnings: Circus is a physical artform that has inherent physical risk, it is also a contact artform that may require physical prompts and touching by trainers and other participants.
