Celebrate the season at the Bunjil Place Festive Celebration
Join us for a free community Christmas celebration as we come together to light the Bunjil Place Christmas tree.
Enjoy an evening of live music, entertainment and family friendly activities. An exciting line up of local performers will fill the foyer with big band classics, festive music and carols, leading up to the magical tree-lighting moment.
Outside in the Plaza, visitors can enjoy roving entertainment, food trucks and plenty of space to relax with friends and family. Pack a picnic or grab a bite to eat before settling in for a special outdoor screening of the Christmas family favourite, The Grinch (2018).
This year, help make someone else's Christmas more special by bringing a gift to place under the tree. Donations of non-perishable food, toys, books, games and gift cards are all welcome. Together with our charity partners and community support organisations, we'll help deliver joy to local people and families this Christmas.

Makepisi
Melbourne-based, South African band Makepisi will present a vibrant celebration of music, culture and community through a joyful a cappella performance. With rich harmonies, infectious rhythms and uplifting vocals, they share a festive collection of celebratory songs guaranteed to get spirits soaring. Expect warmth, energy and plenty of feel-good moments as Makepisi fills the room with the joy of singing together.

Outdoor Cinema: The Grinch
Celebrate the season under the stars with a special outdoor screening of the Dr Seuss classic The Grinch, as part of the Bunjil Place Festive Celebration.
Settle in from 6.30 pm and enjoy this family favourite on the big screen. The Grinch prefers a peaceful life in his mountain cave with his loyal companion, Max. However, the joyful Christmas celebrations in nearby Whoville are more than he can bear. When the Whos announce plans for an even grander festive season, the grouchy Grinch hatches a mischievous scheme. Dressed as Santa and joined by Max, he sets off to steal Christmas, only to discover that the true spirit of the holiday may be impossible to take away.
