The Victoria Cross – Australia Remembers Book Launch

The Victoria Cross – Australia Remembers, written by Berwick resident Michael Madden, will be launched at Bunjil Place.

Proceeds from the sale of the book go to Totally & Permanently Incapacitated Ex-Servicemen and Women Victoria Inc. for ongoing services and support for its members and the veteran community. The book will be available for sale at the launch, with author Michael Madden and Victoria Cross recipient Keith Payne on hand to sign copies purchased on the day.

The day’s events will include a display of military vehicles, music courtesy of the Navy Band, and an exhibition of artwork by George Petrou will be open to the public. There will also be a real Victoria Cross on display, providing a rare opportunity to see this honorary medal up close.

Tickets are free but bookings are essential for the official launch presentation, which will take place in the Theatre at 1.00 pm.
