Discover a musical performance of rare quality by Alexander including Beethoven Sonata in Eb Op 27 N1, Klavierstucke Op 118 by Brahms, Book 2 of the Debussy and his premiere performance “The Bride”, based on the series of paintings by his grandfather, Arthur Boyd.

Appreciated for the sensitivity and integrity of his interpretations, pianist and composer Alexander Boyd enjoys an international career as both soloist and chamber musician.

Born in 1972 he made his Concerto debut in 1983 with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yerzy Maksymiuk, and since his London Wigmore Hall debut in 2001 he has performed at many of the world’s leading concert halls and international music festivals.

His 2020 Australian concert programme will include premiere performances of his new work  "The Bride", based on the series of paintings by his grandfather Arthur Boyd. Come see him perform this amazing new work, as well as Beethoven Sonata in Eb Op 27 N1, Klavierstucke Op 118 by Brahms and Book 2 of the Debussy.
