Join us for the premiere screening of [Vastra.], a film that explores South and South‑East Asian textiles and clothing as powerful symbols of the diaspora experience.

The film looks at the connections between women, the garment industry, and its colonial past—and shows how clothing has helped shape post‑colonial and female identity over time.
This screening brings together different generations and cultures across diaspora communities, using traditional textile and garment traditions as a shared thread that connects us all.

Accessibility: This is a free, seated program.
