In 2026 Wednesday Night Workshops explore playful art making, opening up to experimentation and enjoying the act of creating.
Join us in April to design your own paper patch, using embroidery illusion techniques.
Create magic with the brush of an alcohol marker as you design your own paper patch during this two-hour workshop. Guided by teaching artist Yaz Gaté, you will learn how to manipulate alcohol markers to replicate embroidered stitches onto paper. Expand your understanding of alcohol markers, develop your own designs, and unlock a world of possibility through these clever tips and tricks.
Accompanied by snacks, drinks and like-minded folks, this is your invitation to pause your everyday routine, participate in a hands-on, art-making workshop and join our little community of makers.
All materials provided. No experience necessary.
Enjoy snacks upon arrival.
Who is Wednesday Night Workshop for?
Folks aged 18+ who enjoy being a bit creative and want to meet like-minded people. No previous art experience is required for these workshops, just a willingness to try something new!
