Turn Your Big Idea into a Bold New Performance with THE RABBLE
Have an idea you'd like to bring to life?
Bunjil Place and Melbourne theatre company THE RABBLE are inviting emerging artists from the City of Casey to take part in Storming an Idea - a one-day workshop designed to help turn creative concepts into original performance works.
Taking place on Monday 7 December 2026 in the Bunjil Place Studio, the workshop is open to artists aged 18-25 working across a range of disciplines, including theatre, dance, sound, poetry, video and live art.
Led by THE RABBLE, participants will explore creative development techniques used by one of Australia's most distinctive theatre companies. Through practical exercises and collaborative experimentation, artists will learn new approaches to shaping ideas for performance.
The workshop is also an opportunity to connect with other emerging creatives from across the City of Casey, share ideas and build relationships within the local arts community.
Places are limited to 10 participants. Successful applicants will receive $250 to support their involvement in the workshop.
Expressions of interest open Monday 5 October 2026 and close Sunday 18 October 2026. Applications will be shortlisted, with successful participants notified in November.
Bunjil Place welcomes applications from artists of all backgrounds and experiences and is committed to supporting diverse creative voices.
