Digital Screen Program
Our Outdoor Screen in the plaza and Digital Wall in the foyer presents a unique, specialised program that celebrates artists, filmmakers, animators, sporting heroes and our community. We host a wide variety of amazing screen-based activations from cinema-style events, film festivals, interactive installations, multi-player gaming challenges, sporting championships, not to mention short films, animations and documentaries from local and international filmmakers.
Monash Screen Project Films
This program is a selection of short non-fiction films by 3rd-year, Film and Screen Studies students in the school of Media Film and Journalism at Monash University. Selected from projects created during 2025 for a subject titled Screen Project: From Film theory to Media Production these films draw upon on a range of academic and theoretical concepts as a prompt to frame creative development strategies for film projects.
Monash Advanced Media Portfolio Films
This program is a selection of short films created by 3rd-year students in the Bachelor of Media Communication degree at Monash University. Selected from projects created in 2025 for a subject titled Advanced Media Portfolio, these audio-visual projects respond to an open brief in which students can create a major media work for their portfolio at the end of their degree.
With Ya Cardinia
With Ya Cardinia is a documentary series created by Kaiser Tangso that celebrates the positive impact of local stories and the people behind them. Featuring four homegrown storytellers, the series offers a platform for voices that are often unheard, yet are quietly sparking meaningful change across Cardinia Shire. Each film presents an intimate and authentic portrait of the passion, resilience, and community spirit that drives these local changemakers.

Outdoor Screen Program: MAGI Alumni Showcase
Masters of Animation, Gaming and Interactivity at RMIT University is an internationally recognised, project-based Master of Animation, Games and Interactivity focused on creative practice, emerging technologies, and digital storytelling, delivered through the School of Design and supported by the VX Lab and specialised studios.
Over the next six months, the Bunjil Place Outdoor Screen will present a series of animation works by MAGI 2024/25 alumni.
Drapes of Resistance
Located in the Bunjil Place foyer, the Digital Wall showcases contemporary video art and generative works. For the next three months, audiences can experience Drapes of Resistance, a digital artwork presented alongside The Offbeat Sari exhibition in the Bunjil Place Gallery.
