About your teaching artist:

Di Lockwood

When Di’s long career in primary education ended, her life in art truly began.  With the new millennium came a Diploma in Visual Arts and the creation of her studio  and gallery the Libran Dogma.  This small gallery offers exhibition opportunities for emerging contemporary artists.  For over a decade it has been the springboard for many successful local artists, some of whom are also members of the South East Contemporary Artist Network (SECAN).

Di’s printmaking is the result of exploration of the possibilities that each plate can offer, often the combination of a number of plates and processes. She includes her handmade paper and uses her prints as collage material in other works.

Painting is her other medium, often quite abstract but based on the colours and forms of the landscape.
