Disco Balls - an AR keepy uppey experience

Disco Balls is an augmented reality version of the traditional game ‘keepy uppey’, designed by Sydney based studio Spatial Sauce. The aim is to keep the virtual balls up in the air for as long as possible, without dropping one. Each player's score is recorded and ranked on a daily basis.



Game Play:

• Two new balls are spawned every 10 seconds. As the balls travel through the 3D space, their “position indicator” helps users to orient themselves and makes it easier to make contact with them.
• Players can hit the balls with any body part, and the angle and speed of the impact sends the ball in a different trajectory (real life like physics)
• As players hit the balls, they light up and create a cool illumination effect
• If any ball hits the floor, it is “lost”

• 10.00 am - 12.00 pm
• 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm
