We are proud to again be part of Open House Melbourne which this year is a digital celebration of our architecture and city.

Open House Melbourne is breaking convention in unconventional times and adopting new ways to stay connected, think, explore and encourage change in 2020.

You're invited to enjoy an array of Bunjil Place video interviews with the architects and builders, fly-throughs, a time-lapse of the construction as well as the opportunity to dive into our interior spaces through virtual tours.

The design of Bunjil Place (or Casey’s Cultural Precinct at the time) was selected from a design competition ran by the City of Casey. Watch the original winning submission from design architects FJMT below.

Hear from FJMT's lead architects as they describe their design process and influences when it came to designing Bunjil Place.

Bunjil Place was constructed by Brooksfield Multiplex. Here you can see them constructing the roof....

and completing our complex timber gridshell.

Here's a time-lapse of them building the facility from the ground up...

...and finally hear more about Multiplex and the work they undertook to bring this meticulously designed building to life.

Hit the links below to take a virtual tour of all our spaces.

Download this fun activity on Bunjil Place for kids and families to enjoy.

Take your experience home by grabbing a copy of Designing Bunjil Place. An awesome book filled with great info, pics and design insights that you can purchase online.

We are proud to be part of Open House Melbourne 2020.
