Emergent 2023 Graduate Showcase: applications closed

Applications for Emergent Graduate Showcase 2023 have now closed. Stay tuned for more information about how you can see the exhibition and performance in 2024. 

 
Local students studying the subjects listed below are invited to submit their end of year artworks, projects, photography, film and/or performances to be exhibited or performed at Bunjil Place in 2024.

Each year, Emergent Graduate Showcase presents the next wave of artists, designers and performers from the City of Casey Region. The outstanding talent of VCE and VET visual art, design and performing arts students is showcased in a professional setting at Bunjil Place. This year Emergent Graduate Showcase will also accept applications from students undertaking arts subjects in VCEVM and International Baccalaureate.

Emergent 2023 Graduate Showcase: Performance 

The performance will be held at Bunjil Place Theatre on 17 March, 2024 and will showcase exceptional work from students studying the following subjects in 2022: 

Units 3 & 4: 

  • VCE Drama
  • VCE Theatre Studies
  • VCE Dance
  • VCE VET Dance
  • VCE Music Style and Composition
  • VCE Music Performance
  • VCE Music Investigation
  • VCE VET Music Industry (Performance)
  • VCE VET Music Industry (Sound Production)

Emergent 2023 Graduate Showcase: Exhibition 

The exhibition will be held at Bunjil Place Studio 17 March – 7 April, 2024, and will showcase exceptional work from students studying the following subjects in 2023:  

VCE Units 3 & 4: 

  • Art Creative Practice
  • Art Making and Exhibiting
  • Media
  • Visual Communication and Design
  • Product Design and Technology (Textiles and Wood Work)
  • Theatre Studies (Set design, Costume Design or Props)

C​​​ompleting their final year of VET Certificate II:

  • Applied Fashion Design and Technology
  • Screen and Media
  • Visual Art

International Baccalaureate:

  • Arts subjects

VCEVM:

  • Arts subjects
